On the last day of his business mission in China, Minister of Economic Affairs Matjaž Han, together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to China, Mr. Boštjan Malovrh, visited the Ningbo Unior Forging factory, where UNIOR has been present since 2005.
During the visit, the minister toured the production facilities and met with some of the company's employees, who total over 500. Discussions with UNIOR Group CEO Robert Vuga, board member Branko Bračko, and Zonglin Wu, Chairman of the Ningbo Unior Forging Supervisory Board, focused on market conditions, related challenges, and the continued development of the UNIOR Group in China.
The minister and the delegation, which was also joined by Robert Vuga, met with the Mayor of Ningbo. The city, with a population of 9.6 million, is one of China’s most important economic centers. During the meeting, both the minister and the mayor emphasized the importance of international trade, logistics connections, and industrial parks, which are crucial for Slovenian exporters and investors seeking access to the Chinese market.
UNIOR recognizes the importance of international connections and innovation, and we are proud to contribute to the economic cooperation between Slovenia and China.
